Privacy policy
This policy explains what information HR Terrain ("we", "us") collects through hrterrain.com, why we collect it and how you can control it. We process personal data in line with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
What we collect
- Enquiry details you submit: your name, company, work email, phone number, company size, the service you're interested in and your message.
- Compliance calendar downloads: your name, company, work email and phone number, plus the states and obligations you pick. The calendar document itself is created in your browser.
- Messages you send us by email or WhatsApp.
- Your theme preference (light or dark), stored only in your own browser. It is never sent to us.
We don't use advertising trackers, and we don't sell or rent personal data.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and understand your requirements.
- To prepare a proposal or deliver services you ask us for.
- To meet our legal and record-keeping obligations.
Service providers
The contact form is delivered to our inboxes by FormSubmit (formsubmit.co), which also sends you a one-time confirmation that we received it. Our email is hosted by Hostinger. News headlines in the compliance news section are gathered from Google News and link to the original publishers. Web fonts load from Google Fonts. These providers process data only as needed to provide their service.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that don't lead to an engagement are deleted within 12 months. Client records are kept for as long as the engagement and applicable laws require.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal data, or withdraw consent, by writing to us through the enquiry form or on WhatsApp at +91 99950 94978. We'll respond within 30 days.
